I was in the room where it happened and it’s incredible. Not only did I fully grasp the messages Ty was sharing, but they have stayed with me and I’ve thought of them long after the event because of the unique way the concepts were presented. His kids were so fun to watch. I want my kids to learn these concepts now and not when they’re in their 40s like me.

The experiment was actually done this way: when the new monkey got to the bananas, the other three monkeys got watered, so they brought him down. Next new monkey got stopped by the other monkeys before it got to the bananas. After all four monkey got replaced a fifth came inside the cage and asked why nobody would climb to get the bananas, the other four answer : we don't know but that's the way things are being done around here.

I would have to disagree, the monkeys previously had learnt that nothing good comes from going up the ladder and so they decided to stop the others to protect them from being 'hurt' the same way they were, in a sense they had protected the monkeys who had no idea what would or could happen if they went up. I like to think of it as people sharing the results of their mistakes in order for the other monkeys to go further then they ever could, to stop making the same mistakes and instead advance.
